Brodie is growing so fast! I know I say that every time, but it's so true! He's starting to hold the bottle on his own, he's getting up on all fours trying to crawl, he's so much more vocal and playful than he was when we first brought him home :)
His thing is blowing raspberries and laying on his tummy and kick his legs and throw his arms. He tries to crawl SO bad haha He can scoot around. He just needs to learn to move his arms and legs together to go.
Last weekend we went to a baby shower for our good friends, the Shaw's. While we were at our friend Bree's home (where we had the shower), Brodie and Bree's daughter Kristina, who's one, were having a lot of fun! They'd be laying on the floor and she'd crawl to him and they'd just lay together. It was super cute! Then after the shower we went to the Shaw's home to hang out. There, Sydney was all laying down with Brodie and they both were jabbering together. She also wanted to help me feed him! She's going to be a great big sister.
When we were in Salina/Ellsworth last weekend, we didn't have a chance to see everyone. But we'll be down again at Thanksgiving and we'll be there longer than just a weekend. I can't wait till the family reunion for everyone to see how much Brodie's grown.
Oh and Brodie's ate more baby food. He's tried carrots, squash, green beans, peaches, and something else but I can't remember. He seemed to like the carrots the best. He didn't really like the green beans haha
And he laughs so much. He'll be hanging out on the blanket and Vida will be on the couch and he'll look at her and just start laughing! It's SO funny! The other day we were mocking one another laughing. He'd laugh then I'd do it then he'd do it and so on. It was hilarious!
His six month appointment is Oct. 21st. I think he'll weigh at least 19 pounds, between 18 and 19 pounds. Ben thinks he'll be 18 1/2 pounds. He's already wearing some shirts that are 12 months! haha :)
Everyone's doing great! The year has gone by so fast. I can't believe it's already fall. Soon it's going to be 2010 and Brodie will be a year old! It's crazy thinking about that. This time last year he was a little nugget growing in my belly, and now he's a little baby boy :) Things are good, life is great!
