Brodie's first road trip

Last weekend (6/26-6/28) was Brodie's first road trip! He did SO well! He slept all the way to Wichita, except he woke up once to have a little bit of his bottle then fell right back to sleep, and he slept the entire way back home! Brodie attended the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and the reception. Everyone was commenting on how good he was and how they didn't even hear him cry once! We kept telling everyone that's how he always is, always just laid back and mellow. He was extremely good.

During the day of the wedding, Brodie spent most of the day with the boys as they got ready, while mommy and the rest of the bridesmaids and bride got ready. When time came closer to the ceremony daddy brought Brodie to our room. When we were heading down to the ceremony, Auntie Eden and my friend Berlice took care of Brodie. And after the ceremony, Auntie Eden and Berlice took Brodie down to the reception hall while Ben and I were taking pictures. Also during the reception, Auntie Eden and Berlice took care of Brodie while we ate up at the wedding party table. Though, Auntie Eden went back to Ellsworth and Berlice left as well, so Tuyen's niece Tiffany stepped in as the babysitter. Where the wedding party was seated and most of our friends were seated was close to the DJ booth, so Tiffany took Brodie out in the hall so he could get some sleep where it was quiet. When Tiffany had to leave with her family, we took Brodie to the back of the reception hall and hung out back there. It was a really fun weekend, and we couldn't have asked Brodie to be any better than what he was! He was amazingly good! :) Everyone just wanted to hold him, and who could blame them he's one cute kid! hehe
