Today, one year ago, Ben and I were in the hospital waiting on nature to take its course (with a little help) to meet our son. Today, a year later, we celebrate that day!
I can't believe how fast this year went and that our son is already 1! It's crazy! The past year has been amazing, exciting, joyous, everything. Brodie has brought so much joy to not only our lives, but our family and friends' lives as well!
Sunday we celebrated Brodie's birthday with family and friends. We had a house full! We opened gifts and let Brodie go crazy on his own cake! He was a little hesitant at first, but once we showed him he could dig in, he went for it! :)
He also had his first haircut! Done by his Auntie Eden :) He did so well too, didn't cry or fuss. He just sat there on the couch and let her do her thing while he watched TV and chewed on his baby comb haha
I have pictures on Facebook, just haven't had a chance to post on here yet. I will though, hopefully tonight :)
This morning I sang happy birthday to him and while on the way to daycare. I also cried a couple times. haha I brought party favors and cupcakes to his daycare so they can also celebrate Brodie's birthday!
We want to send a big THANK YOU to everyone who drove up for Brodie's birthday party to help us celebrate! It was a lot of fun and it was great to see you all! Brodie loves ALL of his gifts! We are truly blessed to have family and friends who love our son just as much as we do :)
