He's still not walking, but he's doing this funny crab walk now. He tries to walk like the animals I think, he gets on his hands and instead of his knees he gets on his feet. It's pretty funny. He's still pulling himself up on furniture/us and walking/standing with assistance. I try to get him to stand on his own, but he just leans back into me :)
Still as vocal as ever. Oh, and he's been throwing tantrums. Not horrible ones or anything like that, but only when he sees our phones and he wants them but we don't give in and we hide them. He just gets so upset. He fake cries, whines, if he's on the floor he'll kick his legs, throw his arms... It's pretty comical. Like I said, it's not horrible to where we can't handle it and he only does this when he wants our phones. We don't give in and let him play with them because they're expensive phones (iPhones). Instead, we just try to give him other toys or just talk to him to distract him. It usually works :)
We're going to start introducing milk into his diet. When we give him formula, we're going to add 1 oz of milk and the rest water & formula. That way, when he's a year old, it's easier for his body to digest the milk than just giving it to him all at once. Our daycare sitter suggested this and it makes sense.
Oh! We've been giving Brodie sippy cups a lot more during the days and he's taken to them soooo well! We'll only give him bottles when he naps and goes to bed. All the rest of the time during the day he has a sippy cup. He enjoys apple juice and water.
