Naomi can sit up on her own! Her little lean has grown into a full on sit up! So proud of that little girl! :)
Though Sunday a couple times she did bonk her head into a couple toys, but she's ok! Accidents are bound to happen when you're a baby and mobile. Heck they even happen when you're an adult!
Both kids are doing great though. Naomi's crawling and sitting up, eating baby food but still not sleeping through the night. Brodie's doing good, growing big and learning new words every day. He loves helping us throw things away in the trash! :)
FYI: We are planning Brodie's birthday party for April 23rd, it's a Saturday, during the afternoon, 2:30pm-ish. The theme is SUPERHEROES! We haven't decided on the location of his party, it'll either be at our home or a park--depending on the weather & how many people confirm to come. When we confirm the location, we'll let everyone know in advance. :)

7 months old!!!
We're getting close to that one year mark aren't we! :) Naomi is 7 months old today! Growing like a weed! It's true what I've been told, the more you have the faster the time goes by!
This week Naomi has two big milestones... She has a second tooth that's sprouted out, right next to her other one. And she can CRAWL!! On all fours crawling. WOW!! It's so cute seeing her crawl too! :) Also, the hair on her head is getting a little longer now too!!! Can't wait till its a lot longer so I can put it in little piggy tales :)
She also tries to sit up, but its more of a side lean. It's cute, kinda like she's posing for a camera.
Oh, and she loves paper. Not ripping it up, but eating it. Brodie loves to leave his drawing papers around and she loves to find them and put them right in her mouth! haha We always have to take it away and then she gets upset, of course. But she quickly gets over it and finds something else to eat on :)
She's our sweet little Nomi. Couldn't ask for a better daughter and sister to Brodie. :)

Naomi's first TOOTH!
It has finally sprouted above the gums!! Felt it yesterday, daycare sitter said it was there the day before yesterday! :) Last week there was a bump, but nothing broken through the gums yet. But alas, our baby girl has her first tooth! It's on the bottom gums. :)
Hopefully the others start coming up soon after this one too so she doesn't have to go through too much pain.

Naomi's 6 month baby well visit
Naomi finally had her 6 month well baby visit. She's doing great, of course. Growing like a weed too!
Poor baby got 4 shots and the liquid medicine. One of those shots was the first round of flu shots. This morning she was feeling a little warm so we had to give her baby Tylenol. :( But I haven't heard from Wanda this afternoon so I am guessing she's ok!
Baby girl weighs in at 17 lbs 2oz and is in the 75th percentile for weight.
She is 27" long and is in the 90th percentile for height.
Her head circumference is 16 3/4" and is in the 60th percentile.
Good stats for her! :)
The doctor asked how she's doing with sleeping through the night and Ben told him that she still wakes up one or two times a night to feed. The doctor said we need to practice just letting her cry it out because she's now used to waking up getting fed and then going back to sleep instead of putting herself back to sleep.
We tried that last night, didn't go too well. Still fed her to put her back to sleep. I think it was because of her shots though--at least that's what I'm telling myself ;)
She's doing very good though! Not crawling and no teeth, yet! But so close on both!! :)
I'm already thinking of ideas for her first birthday party too! haha, Haven't made a final decision, but it will be girly ;) hehe
